Birds who hate Chocobo’s and some hardcore Gamestop employees

You know someone hate’s another when they start “pecking” at the other like this bird is to the Final Fantasy XIII can with a baby Chocobo on it lol, probably jealous that the baby Chocobo is cuter xD. The bird goes straight for the eyes too, what a killer lol.

These are a couple of hardcore Gamestop employees here. You have Rios and Salem from Army of Two working at Gamestop and doing things in “unconventional” methods. I love the CGI for these ads. I hope they keep coming out with more and more of these funny ads. Please don’t pay your games with change ^^;;.

Newest Final Fantasy XIII trailer

The newest trailer to come out for the new Final Fantasy XIII game coming out looks pretty awesome. I like how Square Enix is really using the PS3′s capabilities. The CG cutscene part of the trailer looks awesome, the different amount colors and smoothness of everything makes the video look awesome. Game play wise I think it’s pretty cool how angles from all over are used, even 360 degrees at times during the video. They also show timed the moves with the angles really nicely, zooming in and zooming out when it looks like the right time to do it. Overall I’m impressed, impressed enough to go out and buy a PS3 lol. Which is good because I hear the PS3 is dropping in price later this year, though bad because it’s also rumored that Final Fantasy XIII won’t be released in America until next year around April :P . I look forward to more trailers in the future ^^.

HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS….

Apparently a new Final Fantasy is coming out and I didn’t even know about it, though I can conclude I didn’t know because it’s for the psp which I not only don’t have but don’t read up on the games as well xD.  So apparently the game is called FINAL FANTASY DISSIDIA and it looks to be a combination of Final Fantasy characters throughout it’s history that fight it out, good vs. evil style.  It looks like it will follow Kingdom Hearts game play where you get to move around during fights and need to have real time strategy to play the game.  The graphics are sweet, we are talking about Square Enix here ;P.  So I’m now debating whether or not to buy a psp just for this game, as a FF fanboy I feel compelled to buy this xD.  Maybe they’ll make a “limited edition psp” just for the game, we’ll see :P .  I found out about the game through a friends website, I believe she knows I’m talking about her if I mention LJ and h-p ^^.

Final Fantasy Girls vs Dead or Alive Girls

Nothing like seeing sexy girls fight in a battle to the death, especially if they are girls from video games ;p. We have a fight between girls from Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children, Final Fantasy 8, and Final Fantasy X-2 vs girls from the DOA series.

Watching them fight it out is pretty awesome, battling with moves not seen in the games. The reason, the videos are made by one guy with awesome cg skills that is a fan of the games and probably wanted to see what would happen if the girls fought against each other.

Seeing all of the special attacks from the Final Fantasy girls made me wonder why they couldn’t have that in the games, I would have pwned all of the monsters in the game if they had those skills, especially when I saw Rinoa’s kicka$$ moves ;p. The FF girls are initially pwned in the first video but with Rinoa and Tifa backing them up in the second video, the DOA girls had no hope lol.

Did anyone else think Rinoa’s last move, the one where she cast a spell to have columns of light teleport the FF girls away from the battle field, look like Aizen’s in Bleach when he teleported himself and his comrades away from soul society?

Advent Children – farting parody

Whenever something successful comes out there is always a parody (usually a funny version of) to follow. Advent Children is no exception. Advent Children is the CG movie based on the successful game Final Fantasy 7. The CG is awesome and everything, but I will do a review on it another time. It’s so successful someone has to come up with something to play off it, and you can’t go wrong with peeing and farting. Just watch, but if you of the faint of heart, maybe not.

The dealers at Kawaii Kon are cool. They bring us stuff we would normally never find. I wish there was more though as I could have depleted more of my money. But I did buy stuff along with my brother and I will show you it now.

Check out all the little figures, especially the voodoo dolls on the front. Very cute and they bring good luck rather than bad.

Uchikoma in the house. Sadly the Tachikoma was taken before it could be bought.

The Tifa (Advent Children Version) pic a artist made that I picked up. Very sweet.

I’m a Taurus so I decided to pick this up. The eroness is a bonus as not all of the astrological signs looked like this.

Gah…this Blanc figure….I need to take better pictures and I shall as this was one of the crowning items bought at the Kon.

Cosplay….Cosplay…..COSPLAY!!!

WOOOOOT. Kawaii Kon has been over for a week now and I will miss it until next year but until then here are some cosplayers that came over during the Kon and I will present you with some of their pictures.

There were a ton of cosplayers this year, unfortunately I could not capture many due to work for the Kon. More next year.

L and Light hanging around, I actually saw a few of these duo’s around. Next year it will be Near, Light, and L.

O speak of the devil (reference to Light). Hear they are, I like the red eyes effect on the Light character but I don’t know if that was the camera or intentional.

Who says it has to be anime related, these Star War characters were awesome to see, too bad there was no Darth Vadar as that would complete the set. If Danny Choo sees this , come down to Kawaii Kon next year with your Darth Vadar outfit to complete the set please, you will definitely enjoy the Kon, your men are ready for you ^-^.

Drum Roll Please…dumm, dumm, dumm…it’s the VIC. He does the voice acting for many animes, his most famous role is for the English version of Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist. Vic is tall so not exactly comparable to Ed, but Vic is very cool to be around with. He even had dinner with the local Mini Skirt Army down here, very cool of him to do. His appearance probably brought a lot of attendees down to visit and he never disappoints.

FFXII Suntory Potion Drink

There are many fans of Final Fantasy games out there, including myself. So when I heard about a Final Fantasy drink I, like an idiot, went out to buy it because luckily (or perhaps unluckily) it happened to be at a anime/model/whatever shop.

Well I drank it, it tasted like coyote spit mixed with raccoon spit and a sprinkle of dog spit, you know, just like practically any energy drink, all in all it wasn’t half bad. But here’s the thing, I paid $24 for it and it soooo wasn’t worth it, for that price I could get 4 cans of equal weird taste. Well the bottle was made out of glass and plastic so I guess thats why it costs so much, along with shipping and handling the store had to take in.

It also came with a collectible FFXII card of Vann, who I think is kind of…..hmmm….like a squiggly line if you catch my drift, check out his outfit its like ifffy. Well if you want to buy it I would recommend it to all Final Fantasy fans out there, if not then stay away from it. Btw, I did not receive + 100 hp recovery, more like .01 hp after I drank it, maybe if it was an X-potion it would have been better.

Hail Their Otakuness (FF7 Style)

There are many extreme otaku out there in the world. I am an otaku with slight extremeness due to this blog that I keep and my soon to be very otaku room with the upcoming kawaii kon coming up that will lead me to buying more otaku-related stuff I don’t need but really want and bought that will gather dust as they bask in their glory.

Well anyways back to the post, in this vid there are extreme otaku’s that go all out. It consists of four guys (kind of sad guys, but I applaud them for doing this as I will never have the guts to do it as I perceive it as one of the coolest Final Fantasy things I have ever seen) that act out a battle for Final Fantasy 7 with the battle menu, attacks, and the damage that is shown above the head.

This is really well made and deserves some attention. I especially like how they revive the fallen character with some anime poster (comment if you know which one as I would like to know), it was hilarious when I first saw it.
