Life update…

It’s been a busy, busy 2012 so far. Despite our best intentions to go back to blogging regularly, it just never happened. Oops. ^^;

Another Disney post coming your way and it’s a long one from all the pictures. But….I’m cutting out the food pictures that you’ve already seen from past Disneyland trips so that saves some time lol. Also, it’s pretty much all new stuff we haven’t shared on this blog before, at least to my recollection lol.
Enjoy
What have I been up to? Nothing, really. Once you’re out of school, it seems like life is nothing but work, eat, sleep and occasionally seeing friends.
I am prepping for our next trip. I know it seems like we go on a lot of trips, but it’s not really true. xD The last trip I went on was in January. It’s more AS, than me, this year.
Anyhow, so we’re going to Disneyland. Yes, again. xD But this time, instead of Halloween, we’re going to see the park decorated for Christmas! We’re also going to Pacific Media Expo (PMX), a small con in LA. They always seem to have a lolita fashion guest of honor, and this year is no exception. ^_^
Well, as the title says, it’s been awhile! I bet you all thought we were taking another trip, eh? xD
Well, if I had typed out this post at the beginning of June like I had planned, then it would’ve been true. However, AS has decided at the last minute to go to AM², an anime convention during the 4th of July weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California. I wish I could say that I was going as well, but it’s impossible for me to get off work right now and airfare is just horribly expensive, so he’s going with his brother, instead.

There’s no early entry on Wednesday, so we used that day to hit Fantasyland first thing in the morning at 9 AM. I wanted pictures with the castle because it was Sleeping Beauty day. ^_^ That and the fact that getting to the castle early meant less people in our pictures. ^^;

The day started off super early at Storyteller’s Cafe, in the Grand Californian Hotel. We ate at the breakfast buffet. It was kind of expensive, but I think it’s worth it for the food. Storytellers is a character dining restaurant, so there were a bunch of characters milling around, but most are uncommon characters.
7 AM, so early ^^;;. There was no line but there were lots of them critters around xD.
You can see some of what we ate in the following pictures
The park opened at 9 AM today. We found ourselves at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (BTMRR) first thing in the morning. The line must’ve been short if we got in it or there must’ve been no fastpasses available that day.
Ducks are cute ^^.

Our Disneyland trip doesn’t start at Disneyland, because I’m a deluxe annual passholder, which means I’m blacked out for certain dates in the year. In May, I can’t go into the park on Saturdays without buying a black out pass, which I didn’t intend to do, so we decided to drive around LA to shop and eat.
