I thought this was a bit funny to watch, never knew Norton Antivirus had a mascot. A mascot that looks like something from the Power Ranger’s in fact lol. Seeing him beat up the “viruses” was interesting, just when they mob him, “Anto V” (my name for the yellow Norton Antivirus dude, sounds like a cool name) pushes them away and even swings around a couple, thus emerging victorious. Then does his patented victory fist pump and pose (Hoowaaahh).
I don’t know whats happening in the video above, but I thought it was funny how the man and woman move around like shady characters and don’t even do anything. Via Kirai
Here’s Aya Hirano’s new song “Love Gun”. Just thought I would throw that in, I love Aya lol. Via JapanSugoi
If you are an American that constantly watches television like myself and only go outside to get food like myself (just kidding, I go out, I actually have a life, and I bet everyone who reads this does as well), well then you probably seen the Mac v.s. PC commercials, like the one below this paragraph.
If you haven’t, to sum it up, two popular systems, Mac and PC, are basically computer competitors who each have their own uniqueness that drives customers to either sides, or maybe even both. For a long time many people preferred PC, most likely due to the Windows OS(operating system), so PC ruled as king. But in the past couple of years, Mac is making huge comebacks with their OS that used to accept only Mac programs but now accepts both Mac and PC programs/software. Plus their system is even better than some PC’s as illustrated by vids in Japanese below the American ad.
OK, now to the point of this post (sorry if the above was a bit long to read). Well just like in America, Mac is trying to advertise their computers v.s. PC. Unfortunately for them, it is considered rude to compare companies in Japan which all of the commercials in America did. So Mac made commercials that depicted each systems good points without implying which one is better than the other verbally, Mac always wins of course. I liked the restart and virus version of the Japanese ad, its funny how PC hides behind Macs legs when he supposedly sees a virus.
Personally I am a PC user, I am looking at the Macs right now and they might sway me over to the previously thought “dark side,” we will see with time if my pocket can whip out enough cash for one in the future. For now my PC is doing fine and only if it breaks down will I maybe get a Mac (I am leaning towards the Mac)
