Youtube Video of Interest 4
Everyone gets old and sometimes need a little help retirement home but what do you do when your dog gets old and needs a little help getting around. Just like their Japanese owners, dogs in Japan are living longer and they’re not the spry pup they used to be. As such, a doggy rehabilitation center was made. They give your dog massages, special walking devices to help ease the pain of walking, diapers in case of a lack bowel control, and even classes to teach you how to take care of your elderly dog.

Moyashimon Live Action Drama もやしもん実写ドラマ

This is pretty awesome. I watched Moyashimon the anime and they are currently making a drama version of it. Based on the characters, the small clip, and the CG of the microbes it looks like it will be a pretty good drama. I can’t wait until its release in July 2010.

A LOL moment

This was a interesting to watch. Apparently Steve Parry visited Beijing and is assumed to be Michel Phelps, the American who won 8 gold medals in swimming competitions during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. What’s interesting is Steve actually competed against Phelps in the 200 meter butterfly race in the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Steve left with a bronze medal that day being defeated by Michael Phelps and Takashi Yamamoto.
I just find it amusing that people assume who he is based on looks, though that card board cut out doesn’t help with the mistaken identity lol. I’ve been mistaken for other people as well so I sort of know how it feels to be mistaken as someone else, though never treated as a Olympic gold medalist lol.
Have you ever been mistaken for someone else?
Spongebob, kami (god) of the undersea world
The title for the video is Deathsponge Notepants, which is a parody on Death Note for those who don’t know ^^. Spongebob being Light (Raito) and the Flying Dutchman (the green ghost) is Ryuk. This clip shows “Spongebob” deciding to be the person who restores order in the world with the “Dutchman’s” death notebook, originally found at Japanprobe. I thought it was pretty funny so I thought I would share it with you ^^.
Spongebob is a popular cartoon here in the US, it centers around a “sponge” (who looks like a dish washing sponge) called Spongebob Squarepants who lives under the sea in a place called Bikini Bottom where many sea creatures live from the maniacal “Plankton” to whales named Pearl. Spongebob is a fry cook for a place called Krusty Krab, where he works with his penny-pinching boss Mr. Krabs and his disgruntled co-worker, Squidward (who looks more like an octopus in my opinion). It’s a comedy show that is a bit childish but it’s actually hilarious at times. Read on for some of the more hilarious moments.

Gotta get back…Back to the past …Samurai Jack…Jack…Jack…Jack

I am of course talking about Samurai Jack. The tale of a samurai from feudal Japan who grew up learning to fight the greatest evil, Aku, by traveling all around the world and becoming better physically and mentally.
When Aku broke free of his spell, Jack goes to fight him and nearly beats him when Aku springs on Jack a portal which puts Jack in the future where Aku is God. Now Jack must find a way to beat Aku by going back in the past and defeating him so the Aku future never comes true.
Samurai Jack is one of the best animated shows to come out in America in my opinion, way better than those other “anime” wannabes. This show is definitely about action with Jack fighting his way through most of his adventure as bounty hunters seek his head. But there is a ton of comedy as well, seriousness, and more.
Jack meets the most interesting people and goes to the most exotic places while he finds a way back to the past. What’s interesting is how Jack only kills robots that spew oil that represents blood so there is no need for censorship. I highly recommend watching this show over and over again. You can find it here on toonami jetstream or on youtube.
Here comes Jack with his mighty sword…shiny isn’t it? ^-^

But Jack’s got to watch out or the shift Aku will get to him…Aku is hilarious as he has the funniest expressions throughout the show.

Jack’s got to stop an evil rave that’s mind controlling the kids, great beats in this episode and action. What’s up with the pacifier?…wonder what he’s sucking lol

The Scottish have a fine representative here as he tries to show up Jack with his own sword techniques.

What Pokemon really is…..
Hmmm…apparently pokemon are deformed animals that spout out made up words and if they don’t then they will “get the gas” (Pikachu). This is a clip from Robot Chicken and one of the funniest skits they have ever made in my opinion. Get the gas, thats hilarious. Those religious groups and Kansas should watch this and maybe it will change their mind about Pokemon.
Dancing Sushi
Honestly I am like one of those people who think Americans that try to make anime type of shows do not do it very well, such as Teen Titans and Kappa Mikey (no offense, I know they try hard and they can draw better than me so I can’t really say anything). Though, in regards to Kappa Mikey, one thing I thought that was excellent was the dancing sushi and friends in between cut offs of the show, especially the ebi sushi. Its hilarious and I can never understand what they say . But its interesting when it looked like they willingly jumped into the sumos mouth.
