Our posting has slowed a bit because we’ve both been spending our free time being engrossed in other things.
First off, no, we aren’t traveling or have traveled somewhere in the last month.
We’re at home, not in Japan xD

Some time early June, I got word through Twitter that Kago Ai was in the area, so I convinced AS that we had to go down and get pictures and autographs. Unfortunately, due to the last minute nature, I was quite unprepared and in the end, I dislike how I look in my picture and we didn’t get anything autographed because we didn’t have anything good to get her signature on. I didn’t want it on a random napkin, so I didn’t ask for one. I’m regretting that now. ~_~
If her name sounds familiar, she was formerly a part of the machine known as Hello! Project, performing as a part of Morning Musume, Minimoni and W. She was dropped from her agency after a scandal (underage smoking) and is now making a comeback with her new album, AI KAGO meets JAZZ.

I’m not sure if she had any anime tie-ins herself when she was with Hello! Project, but Tanemura Arina has stated that the hairstyle Kago Ai often sported during her Minimoni days was the inspiration for Mitsuki’s hairstyle in Full Moon wo Sagashite.

Continuing from Tomoyo’s 2D vs 3D: Part 1 post, I will go into my 3D collection.
I collect many different things from anime, video games, and manga but if you walk into my room you will find figures on my desk and on shelves near my bed. My manga is hidden in drawers and I have taken down most of my posters. I have games and DVD’s on display but it is near the ground so most wouldn’t look at it. Though I do have my Gundams on display hanging off of old curtain rods near my ceiling.

Today is the day America had it’s first birthday 233 years ago. America is a very young country compared to other countries out there lol. That’s like baby years compared to other countries.
Today I celebrated by hitting a bunch of golf balls at the driving range and hanging out at the beach for a bit lol.
Did anyone celebrate by doing a bbq or will pop fireworks later?
This post will not be what you expected upon reading the subject title.
This is about our collecting habits. Part 1, in particular, is about mine. AS will work on Part 2 when he has time (I suspect that this will be after he’s done with his summer classes after the end of this month).
AS has always been interested in figures. I, on the other hand, was charmed by things that remained flat.

Hey everyone,
Sorry for the lack of posts but life is keeping Tomoyo and I busy for the past couple of weeks and for the next week.
I’m actually finishing up college now so that means finals and projects that need to be done. My birthday happened on May 3rd. The funny thing is my driving license expires on my birthday (nice way to remind me), so I also renewed my license and my new license is ugly lol. Not my picture (though I plan to get a new one lol) but the design is a ugly red and white mesh with a bunch of stuff I didn’t like lol. I liked my old license way better than this one.
Then after finals I will have a couple days off before my graduation ceremony then it’s off to Japan.
Tomoyo is also quite busy as she has another plan after Japan and needs to work out the details of it before she comes back from Japan lol.
I’ll try to get a post up next week. Though if I find time I might do one this week.
What’s nice about where Tomoyo and I live is the amount of culture that we can be exposed to without having to fly everywhere to experience it. One event that I have been going to for the past 4 years is a local Japanese Cultural Festival held one day a year. Tomoyo and I volunteered at the festival this year.

Happy New Year to everyone ^^. How was your new year? Lots of fireworks? I know there was a lot around my area with aerials going up in the air since early evening to a couple hours after midnight lol. The area I live in has a ton of people shooting off lots of fireworks into the sky and it’s a pretty nice show in my backyard ^^.
I did something different this year after midnight. Instead of winding down, I went to a local Shinto shrine to experience Hatsumode with my brother and Tomoyo. In Japan, visiting a shrine on New Years is called Hatsumode. The reason for visiting a shrine is to enhance the new year with health, joy, abundance and positive energies which will uplift and empower our lives.

Happy Halloween (^.^)/
What do you plan on doing tonight?
As for me, I plan to grab some food to eat, stay in, pass out some candy, do some homework
. Maybe when I have some free time I’ll go out xD.
A random picture I liked so I decided to post it xD.
Back home from Japan. Quite a tiring trip ^^;;;. I’ll show pictures of the trip and some loot later ^^.
