Playin’ like a Rock Star

Faint chanting can be heard from the crowd far away, but I concentrated on my own world. I needed to make sure I was calm and focused. If I messed up, I would not only disappointing myself but those in the crowd as well. All that I have worked for has come to this moment. When I would be able to go on stage and have my dream come true. I remember how I first heard about it as a child on the television. The people on that stage for shining like stars and never had their shine go away.
As I walk forward I can hear the chanting grow louder and louder. My legs shake slightly with each step, as if the weight of the world was coming down upon me with each “clack” noise I hear from my sandals hit the smooth concrete. Everything was setup on the stage for me as I peered from behind the stage. Thousands of eyes were looking for any inch of me to come onto the stage to know that the event would start soon. I can feel the sweat forming in my gloved hand as I try to calm down. The chanting has grown to a level where all I could think of was my name as they chanted it.
I step out from beyond the curtain to find a crowd who suddenly grew from a loud chant to silence. After I pick up my guitar I step forward to the mike and take a deep breath.
“HELLO Budōkan!!!”
