Recently Tomoyo and I went out for some fun and business. The fun part was doing a figure shoot and playing mini-golf. The business was picking up some manga for our local convention. I decided to try something I’ve never done before, taking pictures of nendoroids outside with captions attached to them lol. It must have been more than 50 years ago when I met her. I was a fighter pilot for the governments navy at the time when I was out on a routine flight test during the day when something went wrong. My B82-F’s engine was giving off huge clouds of black smoke as my plane was going towards a nose dive into the ocean. I tried to gain control of the plane but to no avail. I ejected out of the cockpit right before my plane crashed right into ocean with a huge noise of crunching metal of the wings ripping off from the fuselage and flying in both directions 60 meters away from where the impact point. A huge splash followed as my seat soon landed on the ocean surface. I quickly unbelted myself before I sank with the heavy seat and swam to a few floating pieces of metal to stay afloat as my water soaked clothes weighed me down. It wasn’t long before a huge wave came along and pushed me for what seemed like forever into the water, I thought I was going to die that day as the world around me grew dark.
I awoke, cold and wet to a darkening sky and palm tree leaves overhead with the moon starting to show, and sand beneath my body. I felt a warmth coming from my right and turned my head to see a fire and some fish roasting on a stick near the fire. I could barely move my body but the scent of the fish cooking made me drag my weakened body to the fire. Right as I was to reach for a stick stuck in the fish I hear something moving in the forest was and I turned my head towards the direction to find a cute girl coming out of the forest.

The other day I was hit by an avalanche. But this wasn’t a ordinary avalanche, it was a avalanche consisting of boxes ^^;;. The boxes I’m referring to was my figure boxes that have accumulated at the top of my closet for years now that decided they had enough of their unusual stacking and came tumbling down on top of me. Until a few years back, I still had them at the top of closet but it was a quiet and serene place up there as each box was nicely stacked on top of each other. Then the collection grew and I started having to play tetris with the boxes, fitting them anywhere that had space. Finally, that mountain of figure boxes couldn’t take it anymore and decided to come falling down on me.

Continuing from Tomoyo’s 2D vs 3D: Part 1 post, I will go into my 3D collection.
I collect many different things from anime, video games, and manga but if you walk into my room you will find figures on my desk and on shelves near my bed. My manga is hidden in drawers and I have taken down most of my posters. I have games and DVD’s on display but it is near the ground so most wouldn’t look at it. Though I do have my Gundams on display hanging off of old curtain rods near my ceiling.

Hayate: Ahhh, what a beautiful day here on the beach. The water is clean, clear, and a nice crystal blue color. I’m glad ojou-sama told me to take a break. Too bad she couldn’t join me (As he steps onto the beach).
Flashback
Nagi: Hayate, I think you need a break. You should head down to the beach. (Nagi says as she stares at her 125 inch 4-D TV while playing video games, yep 4-D and 125 inches, must be nice to be rich ^^;;)
Hayate: Ehhhh, but ojou-sama I’m feeling fine (smiles Hayate with his patented smile).
Nagi: You probably need one after battling that army of ninja robot assassins that you battled underwater with nothing but your bare fists with only one breath of air. (She says nonchalantly as if not an incredible feet xD).
Hayate: Then you should come with me ojou-sama. It would be a waste to not go out on a nice day like this (as he stares at the bright and sunny world outside the mansion windows).
Nagi: (Nagi puts down the game controller and in lecture mode) Do you not understand that I need to uphold the honor of being a hikkimori? If I step outside this house I will lose my place of honor as the top hikkimori of Japan (Nagi proudly and magical takes out a trophy with a person being wrapped in a blanket on top of it with the words “#1 Hikkimori” on a plate at the base of the trophy). Now go before I order the SP to kick you out (goes back to playing her PS15, again, nice to be rich xD).
Hayate: ^^;;;.
Back to the present time.
Hayate: I wonder if I’ll run into anyone I know at the beach (scanning the beach).

Bet you wouldn’t think it was a man driving a fish cart xD. But it could possibly be it with the famous Tsukiji Fish Market turret truck being shrunk down to a 1:32-scale model of itself including a little driver and a little styrofoam box to hold fish. Guess I need to buy my own little tuna to put it in the little styrofoam box since it’s not included

I’ve never been to Tsukiji fish market myself but always wanted to go. Though I can’t find myself waking up so early to watch the action lol. It’s nice that foreigners aren’t banned for Tsukiji’s anymore, due to bad PR as a result of it. I want to go to try fresh seafood straight from the waters of Japan.
Has anyone been to Tsukiji and want to tell us their experience of it?

Hi there everyone, I asked AS for a spot over here at his blog so that I may post some figure photos and he graciously gave me the opportunity =) So here I am now, and while I don’t have his story telling talent with regards to figures, I’d thought I’d try my best and try to share my photos since I really enjoy figures and hope to share them with everyone. That said, I actually came on board a few weeks back, and even while I asked to join, it turned out I couldn’t poke out enough time to actually get started. Much apologies AS ^^;
