Hey, we’re still here

What have I been up to? Nothing, really. Once you’re out of school, it seems like life is nothing but work, eat, sleep and occasionally seeing friends.
I am prepping for our next trip. I know it seems like we go on a lot of trips, but it’s not really true. xD The last trip I went on was in January. It’s more AS, than me, this year. 
Anyhow, so we’re going to Disneyland. Yes, again. xD But this time, instead of Halloween, we’re going to see the park decorated for Christmas! We’re also going to Pacific Media Expo (PMX), a small con in LA. They always seem to have a lolita fashion guest of honor, and this year is no exception. ^_^
After that, I’m going further north, to San Francisco, to enjoy the first anniversary celebration of the opening of the Angelic Pretty store, my favorite lolita brand. I mentioned the grand opening very briefly last year.
Huhu* It’s been a while. Life just gets you doesn’t it? I’m currently in the midst of playing League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, and finally got around to playing GTAIV lol. But other than that, work and social life is what occupies my time and blogging took a back seat unfortunately. Though I will try to stay active. I’m currently working on my trip post and maybe do a couple of anime reviews for the new season.

Well, as the title says, it’s been awhile! I bet you all thought we were taking another trip, eh? xD
Well, if I had typed out this post at the beginning of June like I had planned, then it would’ve been true. However, AS has decided at the last minute to go to AM², an anime convention during the 4th of July weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California. I wish I could say that I was going as well, but it’s impossible for me to get off work right now and airfare is just horribly expensive, so he’s going with his brother, instead.
AS here, letting you know that I’m not gone lol. But yep, heading over to AM² but before that I’m going to go to Disneyland for 5 days. I’m going to AM² to check out another convention as I’ve only been exposed to two anime conventions in my life lol, plus it’s free lol. You can go in for free but if you wanted to you can pay for a VIP fee to gain access to first dibs on events like concerts, autograph sessions, dealer’s room, and more. By not spending money on the convention I’m free to spend a little more money at the convention lol. Will try to post pics of the convention when I can. I should be able to take pictures too which is important as I’ve been too busy at Kawaii Kon for the past 5 years to take many pictures.
Besides that, life is busy and at the same time, it’s not. Kawaii Kon happened at the end of April beginning of May and that took a week out of our lives preparing for it and recovering from it. Usually we would’ve done a hiatus post, but we were too busy for that. ^^;
Our routine is the same, work, eat and sleep. It isn’t that we don’t have free time, it’s just that we haven’t felt like blogging. It’s probably just a phase. It’s not like we don’t have things to blog about – at the very least there are our trips to catch up on and AS has had some photoshoots, but we haven’t felt inspired to sit down and type. Maybe we’re in a rut. xD;
Who knows, maybe this post will mean an end to our unplanned hiatus rather than an interruption. Or it could be an official notice of a hiatus. We’ll have to see.
Fanime 2010/Fantaisies dans le Monde des Rêves
